WHO NEEDS A GHOSTWRITER?
There are many instances when using a book ghostwriter may be a beneficial option, but I find that most can be grouped into one of the following catagories:
Someone with an amazing story (or information of value) to tell, but not the writing expertise to actually write it.
Someone with an amazing story (or information of value) to tell, but not the time to write it.
That’s where I come in. Whether you’ve lived an extraordinary life that you want to put down on paper, have a wealth of knowledge you’d like to share, or are a public speaker who needs a book for back-of-the-room sales, I can use my writing experience and expertise to help you reach your goals.
MY PROCESS
Step 1: Initial Meeting
I begin my ghostwriting process by meeting either in person, via video conference (Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime), or over the phone. During this time all the details of your book will be discussed, including its purpose, your vision, desired outcome, and publishing goals. This meeting, along with all of our additional interactions, will be recorded.)
Step 2: Basic Outline & Materials
Next, I will come up with a basic outline for your book. (We can do this part together if you’d like.) I will also gather all the additional materials needed to write your book. Once you approve the outline and I have all of the materials I need, we can move on to step three.
Step 3: I Write The Book
I completely take over the book writing process at this point, however, we will remain in touch through regularly scheduled conference calls and e-mail communication until the book is completed. At that time I will deliver a polished and professionally edited manuscript that is ready to be formatted for publication.
PRICE
I do not have a flat fee for ghostwriting. This is because the amount of work needed varies from book to book. The type of writing, its length, hours of work required, research, interviews, transcription, editing, copyediting, and rewrites are all factors I take into consideration when determining my fee. However, everything required to complete the work is detailed in the ghostwriting agreement and there are no hidden fees.
PAYMENT
Payment is due before can be completed in one lump sum or three installments. Installments are paid at the completion of one step and before the next step begins.
